What Dad's Say About the Program
Dad One: "I wish I had had this training when I was young. I stood on the side at my school dances because I didn't even know how to ask a girl to dance. My son not only has gained great self-confidence in himself socially but has improved all our manners at home. From Mrs. Hinkel's courses he has learned the true essence of a gentleman, something that he would not have received anywhere else."
Dad Two: "Both my wife and I independently observed the lessons. Our conclusion is that it is the right mix of business and fun!"
Dad Three: " Dear Mrs. Hinkel, It is hard to describe the many different benefits that my oldest daughter has received as a result of your Etiquette and Cotillion Program. Since she started in 1994, we have seen a remarkable growth in her maturity and her ability to adapt to new sicial situations. She has developed poise, she seems comfortable talking to boys her own age, and she seems to genuinely enjoy the dancing aspects of your classes. I envy all your students ease with one another. I can remember some very awkward school dances where your course would have made me much more able to deal with the situation and actually enjoy the event rather than dreading it!
As a father, I find it difficult to imagine what the future holds for all three of my daughters. In my eldest daughter's case, I am certain that she will always carry a number of very valuable 'Mrs. Hinkel' lessons that will stand her in good stead. Like many dads, I anxiously watch my daughters go through school, dance recitals and the myriad of other weekend-filling events that mark their brief time under my roof and my care. Your class stands out from all these other experiences, because it answers so many of life's questions well before there is an opportunity to be embarrassed by unamticipated situations or be caught in an uncomfortable situation. Your frank presentation and candor meets the kids at a level they can easily deal with, and the class, above all, is FUN! I am sure that somewhere in the future, when my daughter is giving a dinner party or wondering what to wear to the company Christmas party, she will fondly look back on your class and be confident that she is appropriately dressed, using the right utensil, and is prepared for the event.
There is one other gem from your class that I will personally treasure. Seeing my daughter confidently talking and dancing with boys her own age in an appropriate setting without the negative peer pressure that is so prevelent today, makes me truly thankful that she has attended and enjoyed your program.
Thank you for sharing your valuable insights on life with my daughter. I sincerely hope that my other two daughters can also talk advantage of your great program. (They have.) I just wish that a program like yous had been available to me when I was my daughters' age!"
