an ambassador in the ruins The whole plateau was incredibly green and lush, due in no small part to the monsoons which were about to end. There were lots of ruins, hidden in fields, tucked away all over the plateau. The car in these ruins is an Ambassador, the quintessential Indian car, but one that is fast disappearing as the fast little Japanese models edge them out of the market.
