 I was dreading it. Will he be as good as he used to be ? My God!! he was awesome. I was sitting not 8 feet away from him, we could actually make eye contact. The voice, the look, the sheer magnificence of the man who will always be the coolest man on the planet. His voice never faltered, he even got the high notes in Jealous Guy ! But the highlight had to be Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, a classic amongst classics. What a surprise at the end, Do The Strand, somebody shouted, my brother said to me look at him he'll do it, you could tell by the way he was standing. It was as if he sang it on command from that guy in the audience. The t.v. appearances do not do him justice, except for Where or When on Jools Holland's show, come back soon Mr. Ferry, we love you now more than ever. Our house has entered a time warp back to the 70's, bringing back all the old original hard core Roxy classics, some we'd even forgotten, i'm ashamed to admit. More please !!!
