We have opened our Deep Creek Lake Resort
Home to others. We hope you appreciate it as we do, and treat it accordingly.
We have and are continually up grading this web site to help you decide
on renting our home. We have tried to think of every question you could
ask and do ask!
Rental Periods
The July and August rentals are for full weeks only, and
run from Saturday to Saturday . As we have been able in recient years
to rent the entire week between Christmas & New Years, we will continue
this policy.
Housekeeping *
This property is privately owned and furnishings reflect
the owners personal tastes and requirements. We have tried to respond
to the wishes and comments of our past guests.
This home is equipped with basic housekeeping items, including pillows, blankets, pots, pans, flatware and dishes. Appliances, radios, stereos, are available. Please bring your own paper products, soap, plastic wrap, garbage bags, etc. We provide the first roll in each bathroom.
Linens and Premium Services
Full linen sets, including sheets, bath, and kitchen towels,
are provided in price listed.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in time is 3:00 P.M. or later on your arrival date. The
house key will be mailed to you or if you are local, you might want to
pick it up. If there is a problem, we do have several other keys at friendly
homes near by, but late-late arrival times will not be appreciated. You
must call us to get them released.
Checkout time is by 10:00 A.M. A notice is posted with specific check-out instructions. The house is professionally cleaned between each rental, but renters are expected to clean their dishes and place trash in outside containers.
Payment
We must receive your deposit {onehalf ( 50%) of the rental
amount} , within 10 days of the date you make your reservation. We
must receive your final payment, including security deposit if applicable,
at least 30 days prior to your arrival. Please mark your calendar
! We do not send out a billing for the final balance. Our address

Payment Methods
We accept personal checks if we received at least 30 days
in advance. We also accept money orders, certified checks, but no
credit card provisions. Payments in person with cash or bank checks.
Cancellations
If you find it necessary to cancel a reservation, please
contact us as soon as possible, and we will try to re-rent your unit.
If we can find a new tenant for the time period
you have reserved, we can refund any payments you have made, less a cancellation
charge of 18% of the total rent. If the unit is not
re-rented, all payments are forfeited.
Pets and Pet Fees
Pets are not allowed at rental units. If pets
are found on the premises of the units, this will be grounds for eviction
without refund. If pet debris is found during cleaner activities, your
deposit will be forfited.
Television
Three televisions are provided in a unit, it is by courtesy
of the owner. Repairs or replacement cannot be guaranteed.
This house has cable hook-up for TV. If there is a problem with TV
or cable service we will do all we can to get it corrected. We provide
the 800# for the cable company and expect you to call either us or them
or both to aid in any trouble fix.
Telephone
The home has two telephones. All Long distance or
toll calls must be charged to your home phone or credit card. Calls
appearing on a telephone bill will be referred to you with a $10.00 service
charge.

Mail and Messages
There is NO mail box at home location, however you should
be able to get mail sent via McHenery Post Office which is closest to you.
Maximum Occupancy Limits
Occupancy limit is listed for house in contract. Any modifications
should be agreed to and included in the contract . These limits are adhered
to strictly. VIOLATION OF THESE LIMITS SHALL BE GROUNDS FOR EVICTION WITHOUT
REFUND.
Care of Rental Units
We make every effort to have your property clean, with all
equipment in working order prior to check-in. If you experience any malfunctioning
equipment, plumbing or electrical problems please notify XXXXXX immediately
so that we can make arrangements for repair. Please understand that refunds
cannot be made due to mechanical failure or inclement weather. You are
financially responsible for damage to accommodations during your occupancy.
Seasonal Rentals
In addition to shorter rentals, we also handle seasonal
rentals for both summer and ski season. Please call or e-mail us for more
