• His son George Thomas was said to have been born in St. Catharines ( Lincoln County) in Nov. 1864, Ont., Canada. No records found so far on this! Mother was Julia Garrow from Howe Island.

• Thomas's wife ( likely first wife if actually married) (mother of Geoge Thomas Bolt) was Julia Garrah / Garraw. She later remarried to William Budd in US.

• What happened to Thomas? Did he die or separate from Julia? See Turnberry , Horon, Ontario, Ca. for possible second family!

* Joseph's ( Thomas' grandson) family notes say he ran away from home in England at 16.

* When and how did he get to Canada? Where was he in England before comming to Ontario?

• Thomas son George Thomas Bolt immigrated to US from Canada in 1885. Note, this date seems to be incorrect. It was based on Georges census input!

* If George was born in 1864, Thomas would have been 26 at sons birth. Look for him in 1871 & 1881 Census? Only Thomas Bolt in Canada at that time was him in Huron. Census of 1860 and 1870 for St. Catharins, Ont. had no Thomas Bolt nor Julia Garrow. There was a woman & daughter BOLT from Mecklenberg ( Germany) listed however in St.Catharines.

• Thomas was also said to have been blond with blue eyes.(dads info). Think dad never saw him, and was only hand me down info!

• Julia Garrow was from Howe Island, Ont. This is one of the Thousand Islands on the St. Laurence River. How did she and Thomas get together? She was born 7/16/1842 in Quebec.
