Notes

Educated at Public High School of Portland, Oregon, and at Mary Institute in St. Louis, Missouri.

Taught at Allen Preparatory School in Portland, 1905-1906.

Member of Board of Directors, Fruit and Flower Day Nursery (Portland), 1942-1945; Member of Board of Directors of Civic Theatre, 1943-1946. Member, and at various times active in, Portland Civic Theatre, Portland Symphony Association, Chamber Muxic Society, Sierra Club, Portland Art Association, Boys' and Gilrls' Aid Society, League of Women Voters (Study Group Leader for 8 years), and Audobon Society.

She preserved, for all family, her parents' summer regreat on the Oregon Coast, at Neah-Kah-Nie (near Nehalem), for nearly three decades; and was dearly loved by all.
