I am a Macintosh support person at the University of Missouri and have been
plagued by Power PC machines that have recently replace old SE's on some of
the surviving localtalk networks. I used your resedit hack on a machine
that fit the "incredibly bad" description. The improvement was immediate
and VERY noticable. I will spread the word through the campus support
staff and use the hack until the remaining buildings are ethernet
configured.

I certainly appreciate the information as Apple has not been forthcoming
about this problem. We have tried a number of fixes, including replacing
system boards. This has worked at times probably because of different chip
sets. Keep up the good work.
