March 2005. Mark Hodges (front row, third from right) stands with Ministry of Irrigation, Water and Environment (MIWRE) technical staff at the site of an Air Quality monitoring station he installed under the ADB Kabul Air Quality Managment Project (KAQM) in Kabul, Afghanistan. This AQ station is the first of 8 to be installed as part of the KAQM project, which will measure ambient PM-10, SO2 and NO2 levels. This first site is located in front of the MIWRE HQ building in Kabul.
