Bicycle spinning wheels are shown here. The societies also built, with support from the resettlement agency, large looms and began turning out traditional woolen blankets in a variety of new designs. The weaving association, which had long suffered from a shortage of spun wool due to the low productivity of traditional village techniques, was a ready market for spun wool produced by the the society.
