STORYTELLING The stories shared are adopted for all ages and reflect a lifetime of personal and tribal experiences along with ancestral legends that validate the reason to remain within "the circle of life" in respecting oneself, family, community, and our environmental ecosystem. The attributes of respect, tolerance, self-esteem, and listening skills are interwoven into the stories with interactive drumming, singing, and movement. The ancestral history of wearing regalla (traditional clothing) connecting the Cherokee Trail of Tears is presented along with cultural crafts. |
