HEALING LODGE EVENTS
Our Native American Healing Lodge, also known as Sweat Lodge, is a
dome-shaped structure, nestled at the edge of the forest. During the Healing
Lodge ritual, sacred heated rocks are brought into the lodge and honored in the
four directions. To experience the full benefits of the Healing Lodge, we
suggest that you dedicate the entire day to your healing, focusing on and
clarifying intentions before the lodge; then resting and integrating after the
lodge.
Children are welcome, and there is no charge for children under 13. Please be
sure to provide adequate supervision of children at all times.
Many who have participated in the Healing Lodge have experienced improved
clarity and balance in the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual aspects
of their lives. For this reason, we recommend that you complete a series of
four healing lodges during a year.
What To Bring: Please bring a towel (or two, if you wish to sit on one in the lodge), light snacks, and a vegetarian dish for the feast after the lodge. Females, please plan to wear 100% cotton calf length dress, or skirt and top. Men, please wear thigh length trunks.
