Does Using GNU/Linux Computers Prevent Alzheimers?

Saturday, April 30, 2005

The human mind likes to have control over devices it uses. The more control it has, the more it likes it. The GNU/Linux computer operating system offers maximum control to computer users. Any part of the operating system can be modified and enhanced. If someone using GNU/Linux needs a feature that is not found within the operating system, they can make a request of programmers from around the world. Sometimes the requested feature or modification shows up in less than 24-hours. This creates a rush of endorphins to the brain of the person who requested the feature, to the programmers who supplied the feature and all who end up using that feature.

GNU/Linux is a hopeful operating system. Hope is a state of the mind that enhances the health of the mind.
