[Here are the initial reports on the new album, "Euphoria," and on finding the two previous
Leftover Salmon albums in stock, as well.]
"I just picked mine up at the local (Augusta, GA) Best Buy...the
employees looked at me kinda funny when i yelled Touchdown! after
finding it...they also had 1 copy of Ask the Fish and 1 copy of
B2B...Good luck to everyone else in finding it....pasta!!!!!"

"The boys are at their best when they fire up the rock n' roll - River's
Rising and Euphoria are my favs. I like the polyethnic cajun slamgrass
but the fun begins when Drew wails in his reserved but unabashed
fashion. I think this album is really clean sounding and much better
production-wise than Bert. However, I reserve comment until I get home
and listen to it a couple hundred times at full volume. If the boys are
reading, you guys really outdid yourselves with this one. The cover art
is spectacular - I'm really diggin Mama Boulet on the foldout - in fact,
if you tossed in a salmon in that panel it would make a great cover. A
most excellent listening experience." <anthony.howell@srz.com>

"If you liked the New Grass Revival, you will *love* Leftover Salmon...

It will soon be easy to "ask the fish." "The fish will see you now"
because the fish will be everywhere. Floods are like that. Salmonytes,
hold on to each other tight. We have stepped into it deep as of today.
There will be no other song that will capture the American imagination
in 1997 better than "The River's Rising." The right song at the right
time is the calm way to say it. That song is going straight to the
%^&*$#@*ing radio TOP, and fast, is another way to say it.

da Flower Punk sez: OH MY GOODNESS! :-) Holy S__t! What's coming
next? How fast will this grow? How big is it going to get? What will
this all mean? - is what I think about it. The levee has just broken,
folks, though it may not be flooding where you are yet. Get yer rubber
dancing shoes out... :-) keep your powder dry."

"Just picked up the Euphoria CD this morning. It's been in my car CD
player all day. And it sounds great!!!!!" <goheels@mindspring.com>

[The following one is especially significant. It was posted to both
rec.music.phish and rec.music.gdead, two of the most widely read music
discussion groups on Internet.]

"GET THE NEW LEFTOVER SALMON DISC!!: It is fabulous. The first
studio album with the current (and best ) LoS lineup. This is their
first national release and it is a damn good one. Sam Bush jams with
them on one of the tracks." <brad@dimensional.com>

"the album itself is great i really like Highway Song and Ain't Gonna
Work." <reid.s.brecher@vanderbilt.edu>

"I got it! Yes, I ended up exploring good 'ole Virginia Beach a bit
more than planned, but it was well worth it. Got to Planet Music, and
there were 3 of the 5 copies left that they said they were gonna have.
I looked around, and lo and behold, there's Bridges to Bert and Ask the
Fish. Seeing as how I'm seriously lacking in the digitized Salmon, I
snagged all 3! Euphoria sounds great! It definitely lacks the live
punch, but the songs come across nicely. I think the CD makes them
sound a lot more mellow." <lgtsotr@earthlink.net>

"PS- I love the new 'Euphoria' CD" <smang@concentric.net>

"Reaction to the album? A little different than what I expected but
very cool." <barett@erols.com>

"It is readily available in Boulder at several outlets. BTW, Albums on
The Hill (across from the Fox Theater) had a midnight sale on tuesday
morning and according to a friend who was there about 50 people waiting
outside for the o fish al opening to scoop up copies. So far, it seems,
the LoSers love it! The radio is the next frontier."

"Hi Everyone! Well, you may or may not have read my post about the
trouble I was having finding Euphoria here in Vermont. Well, I had to
go to Boston this weekend for a family visit, and I (of course) ran to
all the local music stores to find 3 (yes 3) copies of Euphoria (for me,
a friend, and my little brother who is living in Shanghi and doesn't
even know the new CD is out yet!). Yes, I managed to track down three
copies - although it took two different stores. So, now I have the CD
and it is *incredible* - now I know what all the Mama Boulet discussion
was about....FWIW it sounds like "Risoree" to me too! The icing on the
cake, and what makes this a truly happy ending to my story, is that at
HMV, along with Euphoria, I also found a Tony Trischka cd (A Robot Plane
Flies Over Arkansas) for 6 bucks! Woo hoo! Feeling like Marcie (that'd
be "Euphoric").......... :-)" <negev@sover.net>

"Just wanted to announce that I got my copy of Euphoria over the weekend
and it has not left my CD player yet. Top notch CD - I am sending my
sister a copy for her B-day. Great album - hope everyone is enjoying it
as much as I." <fscott@hubcap.clemson.edu>

"GET THE NEW LEFTOVER SALMON DISC!!: This is one of the best studio
albums released by any band except for wsp in quite a while, probably my fav.
since picture of nectar." <papyrus75@aol.com>

"If I get any more Euphoric, I might fly away. Seriously. I've been
listening to the Cd over and over again. Softly, loudly, in different
order, whatever. It's better than damn good. I even got some ppl in my
office heading down to C'ville for their 1st show. Hehehehehe. Another
hook inserted." <taz@nowhere.net>

"Leftover Salmon - Euphoria (a must have if you dig the salmon)"
