We are the local affiliates of the nation-wide SMART Recovery Self-Help Network, a non- profit group. We hold fifteen meetings a week in the National Capital Area.    You are not powerless over your addictions! We promote freedom from dependence on alcohol and other drugs through self-help in a small group setting. You can learn to make sensible and reasoned choices to abstain by overcoming problem habits and thinking. No charge for meetings; minimal voluntary donations accepted.
