MONACO, 3A. Laura, 3A2MD is QRV almost daily at 1300z on 10 meters CW, 1400z on 10 meters SSB and 1430z on 17 meters SSB.

ROTUMA ISLAND, 3D2. Antoine, 3D2AG/p has been QRV on 10 meters around 2000 to 2100z.

UNTAET (EAST TIMOR), 4W. Carlos, 4W/CU3FT is usually QRV on 20 meters from 1300 to 1500z. QSL via CT1EEB.

BURUNDI, 9U. Gus, 9U5D has been QRV on 15 meters around 0600 and 1100z and then on 20 meters around 1600 and 1900z. QSL via SM5BFJ.

MOZAMBIQUE, C9. Joe, C97MR has been QRV on 12 and 10 meters using CW. QSL via G3MRC.

ETHIOPIA, ET. Tsigie, ET3AA has been QRV on 10 meters SSB around 1000 and 1400z.

TAJIKISTAN, EY. Nodir, EY8MM has been QRV on 80 meters CW around 0200z. QSL via K1BV.

THAILAND, HS. Charlie, K4VUD will be QRV as HS0ZCW beginning December 4, and will be here for about 5 weeks. QSL to home call.

GUANTANAMO BAY, KG4. Clifton, N4SIA is active as KG4AS until December 5. QSL to home call.

NORTH KOREA, P5. Ed, P5/4L4FN has oral permission for now to operate while here working for the UN World Food Program. Given his work schedule, he is not very active. Any activity has been from 1400 to 1500z and from 2200 to 2300z on 20 and 10 meters, respectively. QSL via KK5DO.

MALI, TZ. Obata, TZ6TO is usually QRV on 15 meters SSB from 0700 to 1000z. QSL via JA6HGB.

MICRONESIA, V6. V63A is usually QRV on 160 meters around 1100 to 1300z. QSL via JA7AO.

CANADA, VE. The Society of Newfoundland Radio Amateurs will be QRV as VO1S from December 1 to 31 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the reception of the first Transatlantic radio signal. QSL via the bureau.

AFGHANISTAN, YA. A number of operators are here as part of a delegation to reestablish communications for the UN and have been issued the callsign YA5T. Amateur activity is secondary to their work duties. QSL via KU9C.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The Tennessee QSO Party, TARA RTTY Sprint, Holiday Spirits Homebrew CW Sprint, and TOPS Activity 3.5 MHz CW Contest will keep contesters busy this weekend. The Top Band 160-Meter CW/SSB Sprint is scheduled for December 5. Please see December QST, page 98 for details.
