Fall 2003 Field Directions for MSI Cougars
Directions:
Layhill Village Park (1920 Queensguard
Road, Wheaton)
Take Georgia Ave North.
Turn right on Layhill Road (just beyond Randolph Road).
Continue past Indian Springs Country Club on Layhill Road.
Turn right on Queensguard Road to Field on Right.
Soccerplex:
From I270, take exit 15B, Route
118 towards Germantown.
Go 2.8 mi on Rte 118 to Right on Richter Farm Road.
At stop turn left on Schaeffer Road.
Soccerplex is 1st right off circle.
Follow signs to fields.
October Tournament:
Ida Lee Park - 60 Ida Lee
Drive, Leesburg, VA
Take Route 7 west
(Market Street) into Leesburg. Turn right onto King Street (courthouse is on the
right). Stay on King ½ mile to Ida Lee Recreational facility on the left. Just
before the main building turn right to field parking.
Catoctin Elementary School
From the East, exit Route 7 to take the Route 7/Route 15 bypass South as you approach
Leesburg. Exit to US 15 North Business just after the Dulles Greenway Toll road
exit. Go through a light at the Food Lion grocery store and move to the left
lane to turn left. Turn left at Catoctin Circle. The intersection is marked by
a Shell gas station on the right. Follow Catoctin Circle three blocks to find
the school on the left.
Simpson MS - Evergreen Mill Rd, Leesburg, VA
From Capital Beltway:
Take Dulles Toll Road and Greenway to Leesburg.
Take left hand exit toward Winchester.
Take second exit to Route 15 South. Proceed 3.5 miles, turn south on Route 15
(towards Warrenton). Proceed south approximately 1/2 mile and take first
left onto Rt. 621 (Evergreen Road). Simpson Middle School is on the left.
Fields are in the back of the school. For the nearest parking to the fields,
proceed past the school and make an immediate left. Parking is along side the
road on the left.
From Route 7 to Leesburg take Route 15 Bypass South. Proceed 3.5 miles, turn south on Route 15 (towards Warrenton). Proceed south approximately 1/2 mile and take first left onto Rt. 621 (Evergreen Road). Simpson Middle School is on the left. Fields are in the back of the school.
