Welcome to my home page, that collection of bytes and ideas that I call my own!
Contained in these pages of virtual paper you will find the usual collection of interesting links some technical, some (hopefully) amusing, and some even prurient but you will also find me.
With apologies for a lack of the bandwidth-consuming, RAM-sucking, and time-killing graphics that currently inhabit the web, I invite you to reminisce about the "good old days" with me... or, if you prefer, you can pay a visit to some of the folks I know, go bounding across the Internet from my links page, or take a few minutes to read the major local newspaper.
You also ought to check out my consulting company: Spider's Loom, which I created back in the late 1990s to do web design and related work. If you need a site created, modified, managed, analyzed, updated, fixed, registered, or linked (or any number of other Internet- and Web-related work), drop me a note!
Of course, self-respecting computer geek that I am, I've also put together a page of useful web sites that you might like... just keep in mind the fact that I'm a busy geek, so I'm way behind on updating the list! Even so, I've almost been forced into finding time to put up some information aimed at minimizing dumb email mistakes that I REALLY want you to read! If you'd prefer something a bit lighter, you can check out a few fun sites... AND... if you're feeling particularly annoyed with all the spam (unsolicited commercial email) you're probably getting, take a quick look at my list of idiots who spam the Internet!
As a U.S. Foreign Service dependent, I've had the experience of knowing no one except my immediate family... and that is a lonely feeling! Since that time "way back when," I've managed to befriend a large group of really special people, some of whom I have remained regularly in touch with since I was 12 (can that many centuries really have passed?). While some have so far managed to remain "normal," here (in roughly alphabetical order) is a selection of web pages belonging to my friends, colleagues, and family!

You scored as Serenity (Firefly). You like to live your own way and don't enjoy when anyone but a friend tries to tell you should do different. Now if only the Reavers would quit trying to skin you. |
