IODOSE DOSIMETRY SYSTEM

The IODOSE dosimetry system was developed by Intelligent Operating Technologies (IOtech) to provide an automated method of radiation process dosimetry. The IODOSE system can be easily applied to any radiation dose program which uses Far West Technology FWT-60 radiochromic film dosimeters. The IODOSE system includes an automated technique for:
IODOSE eliminates the need for hand-drawn calibration curves, arduous batch acceptance routines and cumbersome look up tables for dose value assignment.

IODOSE was developed to conform to ASTM standards and meet current AAMI/ISO/ANSI guidelines.

IODOSE is an automated dosimetry system designed to operate with Far West Technology FWT-60 radiochromic film dosimeters. Screen formats and printed forms are easily customized for the user's process and facility application purposes. IODOSE can also be adopted to use Harwell PMMA dosimeters.

System Features

Templates containing formulae and data transforms have been developed to allow the user to perform the dose response curve fitting for two dosimetry wavelengths. The templates provide the means for measuring system variance, uncertainty, performing dosimeter batch acceptance, fitting the dose response curves by means of regression, establishing the dose response formulae components used to calculate and assign the dose, and printing the curve.

System Description:

IODOSE CUSTOM INTEGRATION OPTION
Spectrophotometer Integration Capability:

IODOSE was developed to allow direct integration with spectrophotometers via a serial output. This provides simple electronic integration and eliminates a source of transposition error. This has been field tested since 1987 and proven to be an effective means of reducing overall dosimetry error and
improving efficiency in dosimetry reading.
