Maury, a lifelong resident of the Washington, D.C., area, is a composer and lyricist (and occasional performer) whose works span various genres including jazz and country and pop. His songs have been recorded by Rock Tipton and Gloria D. Brown and are to be included on the forthcoming CD by Lynn Grunza. A CD of his songs and poems, Ramblings of the morning following a sleepless night on the Uncarved Recordings label, is now available.
