T/TI pioneered Distance Learning when it developed the program and courses for PTT's, Ministries and other telecom entities in 1987. Countries included Malaysia, Indonesia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Curacoa, Barbados, Cameroon, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Malta. In 1990-91 the course was conducted in the Czech Republic, with managers from key cities participating with the class based in Prague. New courses were developed and the program was introduced to many new countries in all regions since 1992. T/TI teams with DDL, Hatfield Associates, Keller and Heckman and other firms specializing in telecommunications consulting, research and training.
