T/TI telecom faculty are world experts in their fields of management, policy, and technology. Several teach at Pace University, George Washington University, and the University of Colorado. Dale Hatfield, Judith O'Neill, John Reardon, Robert Mercer, James Alleman, and other U.S. and European experts teach the policy, regulation, management, economic and selected technical courses. Guest experts from industry contribute modules and participate in the interactive sessions for technical courses. The DDL faculty for managment and marketing include Anthony Beavon, Laurence Baughan, and Peter Lundy. DDL set up a Masters Programme in Telecom for British Telecom and the management training for the 1992 Phare Regional Programme. They will help set up a Telecommunications Training Center in Samara, Russia.
Project Management faculty is Robert Youker of George Washington University School of Engineering and formerly with the World Bank, responsible for training project management in capital intensive projects. Mr. Youker is a consultant in Project Management to regional development banks, government ministries and multinational corporations. Other faculty members include J. Price Gittinger, consultant to the World Bank; Russell Archibald, international expert on Project Management and author of the course text; guest experts include Bjorn Wellenius and David Lomax of the World Bank; Judith O'Neill, international telecommunications lawyer; and John Tatlock, telecommunications engineer and consultant.
Faculty for the Policy course include Dale Hatfield, Judith O'Neill, Cor Berben, Bernard Clements of the EU/EC, and guest presentations by A. Loayanne, T. Ras-Work, and Peter Kurakov from the ITU, Bruno Lanvin of UNCTAD, and Peter Cowhey of the University of California and co-author of When Countries Talk.
