Project Management Overview
The Project Management course contains 32 half-day sessions, for both Project Appraisal and Project Implementation. Robert Youker, formerly Project Management expert with the World Bank, is the core faculty and lecturer. Special lectures are provided by J. Price Gittinger and Russell Archibald, author or the text. Each country team will select a project to work on throughout the course. They will apply the principles, techniques and methodologies taught in each module to this actual project. Faculty can comment on the applications and guide the team. This both enhances learning and contributes a well planned project as an end product.
