By the way, did you know that most people are not allergic to wool? It's true! I learned that from Nan. The truth is that fibers that itch are in the 30+ micron thickness range. Wearable wool, Nan's wool, is less than that. Nan's wool consistently measure 18-25 microns thick - definitely not itchy! Ask Nan about that or Google it as the true tale is more than I can put here.
