Background
Michael C. Saylor
Michael Saylor has a M.S. in Physical Chemistry and a B.A. in Chemistry
and Physics with 13 years experience in the application of sources of ionizing
radiation to the treatment of medical devices, food and materials. His experience
in these areas is complemented by his strong background in radiation physics,
analytical chemistry, spectroscopy and computers.
Michael has chaired several ASTM task groups and is active in ACS, AAAS
and AAMI functions. He is recognized as an expert in the field of industrial
radiation dosimetry and has written numerous articles for journals and textbooks
on a broad range of subjects including gamma, x-ray and electron beam processing
requirements, regulatory and GMP considerations, process validation and
radiation process dosimetry.
Michael remains active as an instructor in these areas by providing custom
in-house training courses to Special Process Service's clients. He currently
serves as a lecturer in Nordion International's Team Gamma seminar series.
