I never really enjoyed exercising until I started taking pilates. Since I’ve been taking classes with Stacey, I have achieved a whole new level of fitness.  Her classes are always challenging, but never defeating.  I really like the combination of strengthening exercises and stretching.  Stacey’s attentiveness to form and to varying classes ensures that you always get a great workout and never get bored.  Classes are always fun and motivating.  Now I look forward to taking classes twice a week. I recommend taking pilates classes from Stacey without hesitation.

I came to Stacey with lower back pain.  I wanted help to get my back/core stronger.  And after 6 sessions I no longer have any back pain.  Stacey is passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm she brings to every session.  She makes each workout challenging and fun!  She also place a high value on correct form with each exercise.  I am now pain free and my balance and flexibility have improved.  I’m already noticing muscle tone.  I highly recommend Stacey!!!

What a difference 18 months of Pilates with Stacey has made on the quality of my life.  After years of rheumatoid arthritis, I was physically inflexible and had little balance.  But thanks to Stacey’s in-depth knowledge of the ability of Pilates to correct basic physical problems, I can now do functional movements I had been unable to do for years.  For example, I now have the balance and flexibility to put on my trousers while I’m standing and I can easily bend my legs so that I can comfortably put on my socks and shoes. And, now I can walk without swaying from side to side.  As an educator, I am continually amazed at how well Stacey recognizes physical problems and develops sets of Pilates exercises to overcome them.  Moreover, in addition to being a marvelous teacher, Stacey is such a phenomenal motivator that each session passes too quickly and I can’t wait for my next one.  Once you start doing Pilates with Stacey, you will want to do more and more and more.

Stacey has been my Pilates instructor and personal trainer for over two years.  I have participated in group classes and individual sessions with her.  Each session is challenging and rewarding.  She has taken the time to understand my specific needs and pushes me in each workout so I don’t get complacent and just do what is easy for me.  I can take the knowledge I learn in Stacey’s classes and challenge myself but avoid making mistakes that can cause injuries.  Over the last two years we have discussed strength, flexibility, balance, nutrition and much more.  I have improved in all of these areas since meeting Stacey.

I have had the pleasure of taking Pilates classes with Stacey for more than 3 years.  When I started I could not even lift my legs up while lying on my back, had no abdominal strength, poor posture and my legs were a mess.  I couldn’t even touch my toes! she helped me to correct all of these problems by modifying exercises until I could do them properly.  Stacey knows when to push you a little and when to just let you move.  She is very flexible with her schedule for busy people like myself.  I highly recommend her to anyone (including guys like myself) looking to improve their posture or stretch out some tight spots while doing Pilates.

Stacey and Pilates saved my life.  I had always been active until I experienced some injuries in college.  I couldn't exercise anymore or even do everyday activities without being in a lot of pain.  I needed physical therapy a few times and after I was finished, my physical therapist told me that in order to keep my body strong I should get into Pilates.  I had no idea what to expect when I started doing Pilates with Stacey three years ago.  At first Pilates felt completely different from anything I had ever done before.  I would get frustrated because of my injuries and Stacey was so patient, kind and thoughtful.  I don't think anyone could have done a better job getting me back on my feet.  Stacey was so dedicated to helping me get my injured body stronger no matter how she had to modify things for me.

Her years of experience and wealth of knowledge really show when she teaches you something new.  Pilates now feels so natural to me I plan on doing it for the rest of my life.  I started doing Pilates to build up strength in my hips and I've gotten so much more out of it.  Thanks to Stacey's kindness and dedication to helping me my hips are now stronger which means I can do all the things I used to love doing before, like running and snowboarding.  My core is so much stronger now and my posture is much healthier which is great because my back used to hurt all the time too.  Stacey is not only a wonderful Pilates instructor but has become a great friend.  I truly do not know where I would be without her.
