We press on for a late lunch in Nagarkot, all the way at the end of the Kathmandu valley. Not much to say there: we park, go to one of the 5 or 6 hotel/restaurants, and have lunch on a terrace looking across steep valleys to the high Himalayas. Naturally, clouds hide the tallest mountains, but it's still awesome. The day is perfect, and a man and boy are flying a kite in the stiff breeze coming across the valley from the mountains to the north. We swear that next time, we'll stay up there, spending a full day just looking at the mountains, drinking beer and reading good books.
