In Calcutta, they still have actual rickshaws, but here in Delhi, only pedirickshaws. It's a very hard life, driving a pedirickshaw. There are two types, the passenger model, which you see here, and the utility model, with a flat platform in place of the passenger seat. The loads these poor guys haul are incredible. Oh, there's also a little-seen schoolbus model, where the back is a cage stuffed with small school kids.
This is at one end of Chandni Chowk, the main streed of old Delhi, near the spice market.
