These are called the Elephant Stables, though really no one knows for sure what they were used for. Each of the large doorways has a large room that is certainly a good size for stabling one or maybe two elephants.

They were setting up for some cultural production while we were there, with a stage set up (to the left of this picture) and boxes of equipment for the light, sound and film crews.
