We stroll back to the hotel, looking at the shops along the way. Throughout this weekend, we'll shop a lot more, but buy very little. We eat out, luxuriating in the novelty of being able to order a drink before dinner at just any old restaurant (instead of just at the ones in big hotels). We look at kukhris, the big curved knives/swords that the Gurkhas wield. Later, I'll buy one, and a small letter-opener version for a gift.
